Indications

Traditional:

Retention of dampness in the Spleen and Stomach marked by fullness and distention in the epigastrium and abdomen; indigestion; decreased appetite; nausea; vomiting; belching; acid regurgitation; a heavy sensation in the limbs; diarrhea; low energy level; a white, greasy, and thick tongue coating; and a moderate pulse.

 

Modern:

Acute or chronic gastritis, gastroatonia, gastrectasia, peptic ulcer, and indigestion.
