【Indications】
Traditional: Zang zao syndrome (restless organ disorder) due to Heart qi deficiency with Liver qi stagnation marked by hysteria, irritability, unprovoked sadness and crying spells, inability to control oneself, insomnia and weeping precipitated by very minor incidents; in more severe cases, manic behavior, frequent yawning, a red tongue with little coating, and a thready and rapid pulse.
Modern: Hysteria, neurasthenia, depression, epilepsy, insomnia, sleepwalking, menopausal syndrome, autonomic dystonia, and night crying in infants.
